Sculpture
Sculpture in Poole and surrounding areas is still out there! Quietly developing and growing as an art form and creative industry as with most local art genres. The talent and expertise of local sculptors need to be nurtured and publicised so that a wider audience can be aware it exists and appreciate it, not only as an art form, but a natural heritage.
Viewing sculpture
On Poole Quay Sir Anthony Caro's Sea Music Sculpture offers visitors a panoramic view of the Quay and possibly a challenge as to one's own perception of where such a sculpture is best placed!
See panoramicearth.com or a virtual tour at vrpoole.co.uk
Also on Poole Quay...Baden Powell's statue/sculpture by David Annand
KUBE (formerly the Study Gallery of Modern Art) also houses sculpture by Anthony Cragg and Henry Moore.
