Theatres

The Lighthouse has the largest theatre in the area and hosts a wide range of nationally-touring productions and occasional local ones. It also has a small 70 seat theatre for more experimental productions.

The Barrington Theatre is a 250 seat facility in Ferndown staging professional and amateur performances.

The Pavillion in Bournemouth is a traditional theatre now used mostly for musical performances and pantomimes. There are plans, however, to make it a centre of dance when it is redeveloped.

The Pier Theatre in Bournemouth stages productions irregularly.

The Regent in Christchurch provides a mix of professional music of all kinds, small to mid- scale touring theatre, film, dance, and extensive use by some ten local amateur companies.

Dance classes / studios

Dance Crazy in Bournemouth - alongside classes, they also have studio space available for hire, suitable for teachers wanting to develop a dance or drama class. The studio has it's own sound system, full length mirrors and a sprung floor.
