There are a number of arts groups in Poole which concentrate on developing the skills of their members:

Bournemouth Pendelfin Singers Ladies' Choir

Broadstone Art Society

Broadstone Community Choir sing mostly sacred choral pieces and present four concerts each year in local churches, sometimes with orchestral accompaniment.

The Broadstone Players, a long standing amateur dramatics group.

Dolphin Marching Band, for 10-25 years olds. They will teach you to play the instrument from scratch!!

Parkstone Camera Club

PEDAS, Poole and East Dorset Arts Society, founded in 1924 and welcomes artists in all media & genres — painters figurative & abstract, sculptors, felters, embroiderers, photographers & installation artists.

Poole Borough Band is an all-brass combination that performs concerts and contests throughout the south of England.
