TAP's Creative Hub: At this monthly TAP evening, Rosie Jones, founder of the successful Film and Television Networking events Prequel and Sequel to Cannes will be sharing her knowledge and experience of applying for funding. Topics covered will include identifying potential sponsors and funders and preparing a list of benefits to them, budgets, outcomes etc. There will be an opportunity for you to get involved in an exercise/case study.

Rosie has attracted funding and sponsorship from various sources of commerce, professional guilds and organisations as well as funding pools. She is a qualified screenwriter who runs her own production company, Creative Thoughts Productions Ltd.

This will take place between 7.30 and 8.30 pm, and then from 8.30 to 11.30 pm Freeplay Mix (a jamming session for musicians, vocalists and poets of all levels) upstairs.

Elsewhere in the pub artists and musicians socialize, recite poetry and creative writing, sketch or make music around the piano.

Sun 15 Aug Freeplay Chill: A relaxed jamming session for musicians, vocalists and performance artists. Experiment, learn from each other, and develop as musicians. Bring your own instruments and music. All abilities and styles welcome. It takes place from 7 to 11 pm at the King Charles Inn, Thames Street, Poole BH15 1JN. Free entry.
